“Enjoyed a spring getaway weekend at this lovely place! Unit has been renovated to high standards, but feels comfortable and welcoming, with great mid-century colors. The mountains are literally at the end of the street, and convenient shopping and casual restaurants also within a 5 minute walk. Quick drive, two canyons over, is Palm Canyons, for day hikes and trail rides (famed Smoke Tree Ranch also close by). Kitchen and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed, too. Nice pool area, with jacuzzi. Cannot wait to return for another visit in 2017!”

“The place was simply stunning and very comfortable for my month long stay. I have back problems and the lounge chair and couches were perfect. The little touches stood out like the stability bars in the showers/tubs and the wall oven and microwave – perfect height – no bending! I appreciated the nod to the decor of my youth, but with modern comforts like normal furniture height instead of the traditional low 50s/60s beds and couches. I like to take several long walks a day and there is so much to see within walking distance. You walk south and you’re on nature trails by Smoke Tree and you walk north and you have lots shopping options. You walk west and you have lots of quintessential Palm Springs homes. My daughter’s family joined me for several weeks and there was plenty for everyone to do. Within about an hour’s drive, we were able to take day trips to the mountain village of Idyllwild, the quirky desert terrain of Joshua Tree, the outlet malls, and, of course, the Tram. Between the activities, we enjoyed afternoons reading and talking by the well-heated pool. I look forward to renting the home again and highly recommend the home to my family and friends.”

“I stayed here in September and December – both very different experiences. September was perfect pool weather during the day and relaxing in the air-conditioning at night. December was perfect for long walks, hiking in the canyons, and ending the day in the hot tub.

The property and grounds were impeccably maintained. The home is well presented. I was impressed by the decor and attention to detail, I felt truly at home.

There is something magical about this place. I would definitely come back a third time!”

“My partner and I stayed here for three months and easily felt at home within the first few days. A very spacious two bedroom with a cozy TV den just off the large patio, the home became an oasis during the heat of the day with two pools (heated) within steps of the patio door. We became accustomed to our daily routine of exploring the neighborhood on foot each evening before cocktail hour, and enjoyed the well appointed kitchen with full bar accompaniments. The patio grill and table led to many nights cooking and staying in. The peace and quiet each evening led to restful sleeps. While we were working, spaces for desks and wifi throughout, with a wifi printer kept us connected to our jobs.

The condo is done in mid-century style and colors, without being overdone so you won’t feel like you’re in a showroom but in a comfortable home. Truly enjoyable and highly recommended for a long-term stay.”
